When we completely rest our body, energy and mind in each moment, we have everything we need to experience peace within ourselves. This is the essence of the Dzogchen teachings.
His Eminence the 7th Dzogchen Rinpoche, Jigme Losel Wangpo, is the holder of the Dzogchen lineage, the highest in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. His Eminence is an acclaimed spiritual master, renowned for his ability to transform the ancient Dzogchen wisdom into practical advice.
Under His Eminence’ guidance and direction, the Gyalwa Dzogchen Sangha come together to study and practise the precious teachings of the Dzogchen lineage, which are known to lead practitioners to enlightenment in one lifetime.
Gyalwa Dzogchenpa Institute Australia
It is His Eminence’ wish to establish a Dzogchen Institute in Australia. As a centre of philosophical and ritual training, the institute will allow students to study and practice within a traditional and supportive environment. This will be the second centre, after the European Institute, directly linked to the Dzogchen lineage holder, to be established outside of Tibet and India. It will be a historic development that will plant the seed of the authentic Dzogchen tradition in Australia.
Shenpen Australia is presently raising funds to support the establishment of the Gyalwa Dzogchenpa Institute in Victoria.
